Marianne Manzler, Poetry Editor
Marianne Manzler is a writer originally from the heartland of Cincinnati, Ohio. After completing her BA in English at The Ohio State University, she spent three years teaching & designing leadership events in New York City, before moving abroad to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to teach and sweat and write.
She is currently pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing at the University of Washington, where she co-founded the Black Jaw Literary Series and serves as the Prose Editor for the Seattle Review. She was recently named a prose finalist in Fourth Genre's 2018 Steinberg Essay Contest and New South's 2018 Writing Contest, and has received fellowships and awards from The University of Washington, The Ohio State University, and the U.S. Fulbright program. She now lives in Seattle, Washington.
